From 3rd September 2025, we are introducing Workshop Wednesdays, a unique new group session, not found at regular gyms, that involves personal training style coaching of a a specific movement to learn or progress technique while improving your overall strength and performance.
The sessions will start with a carefully curated warmup to activate the right muscles, followed by coaching of the Movement of the Day (MOD) and finally, a MOD Circuit incorporating exercises designed to supplement improvement of the MOD. The Movement of the Day could be a certain lift, or something bodyweight like pull-ups or dips.
Owing to our small group sizes, everyone in session will have the opportunity for one-to-one coaching, like personal training, so they can receive tailored feedback and pointers on how to improve form and progress specific to their body. For beginners, this will involve nailing the basics, whereas more advanced participants will receive valuable tweaks and advice to progress the movement and hit new PBs.
Following the technique section, the MOD Circuit will elevate your heart rate ensuring you've had a good workout. The circuit will centre around the MOD, incorporating specific exercises to supplement further progress.
Workshop Wednesdays will replace all of Wednesday's SWEAT sessions throughout the day at our Frodsham studio, however SWEAT will still take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
